A Uniformed US Army Officer Briefed Matt Gaetz on a Secret Program. Captured Aliens Were Breeding With Humans.

Former Representative Matt Gaetz appeared on the Benny Johnson podcast on March 31, 2026, and described receiving a formal briefing from a senior enlisted member of the United States Army while he was still serving in Congress. Members of his staff were present. The briefer, in full military uniform, described a classified program in which living, captured extraterrestrials were being held at between six and twelve undisclosed locations across the United States and forced to mate with human beings, with the stated objective of producing a hybrid species capable of intergalactic communication. The humans involved, according to the briefer, were abducted from active war zones and from migrant caravans. Gaetz admits he never verified the claims. He did not make them public while he was in office. He is making them public now, nine days before the Pentagon’s April 14 deadline to release 46 classified UAP videos.

The claim arrived in full Gaetz cadence — self-assured, specific, and unverified by anything Gaetz himself produced. But the specific details are what elevate this above standard political noise: a named branch of service, a uniformed officer, congressional staff as witnesses, a specific number of facilities (six to twelve), a defined purpose for the hybrid program (intergalactic communication), and a defined source population for the human participants (abductees from war zones and migrant caravans).

“I had someone come and brief me who was in a military uniform, worked for the United States Army, that was briefing me on the locations of hybrid breeding programs where captured aliens were breeding with humans to create some hybrid race that could engage in intergalactic communication,” Gaetz said. “An actual uniformed member of the United States Army briefed me on that.”

He framed the source as a whistleblower, describing him as a senior enlisted man who wanted members of Congress to simultaneously show up at all of the alleged facility locations, so that whatever was happening there could not be relocated before investigators arrived. Gaetz described this as an impossible logistical ask that prevented any action being taken.

The Context That Surrounds It

Gaetz is not the first or most credible figure in the UAP disclosure ecosystem, and Benny Johnson’s podcast is not a hostile or fact-checking environment. But the claim does not exist in isolation.

Representative Tim Burchett, a member of the House Oversight Subcommittee on UAPs, responded to Gaetz’s disclosure within days. Burchett told a journalist that he was still a sitting member of Congress and therefore limited in what he could confirm publicly. He added, without specifically validating the breeding program claim: “I’ve been briefed by just about every alphabet agency there is, and I’ll just tell you this: if they would release the things that I’ve seen, you’d be up at night worrying about this.” Burchett also noted, in a tone that journalists present found notable, that he was not “suicidal.”

Australian Senator Ralph Babet responded on X within hours of Gaetz’s broadcast. “Let’s just say some of you would be very surprised who’s not entirely human. That’s all I’m authorised to disclose at this time.”

Gaetz also cited the prior testimony of David Grusch, who told Congress that craft recovered in UAP crash retrievals contained “non-human biologics” — biological material that could not be traced to any human source. Gaetz described UAP-adjacent classified materials he reviewed while serving on the Emerging Threats subcommittee: “I’ve seen things in classified settings that are not explainable with the technology we know is available. It would not be anything that you know exists on Earth.”

What Gaetz Did Not Say

He did not provide documentation. He did not name the officer. He did not explain why he withheld the information during his time in office, through multiple congressional hearings in which witnesses provided sworn testimony about non-human intelligence. He acknowledged directly that he had not verified the claims.

Raw Story noted that Gaetz never explained this gap between receiving the briefing and going public. For those tracking the arc of UAP disclosure — from Grusch’s congressional testimony, through the Trump February 20 directive, to the Luna April 14 deadline now six days away — the timing of Gaetz’s disclosure will read differently depending on whether you see it as signal or noise.

Burchett did not say which of those it was. He just said he wasn’t suicidal.
